Ottawa’s La Charrette is an event venue that is inspired by our city's need for creative, collaborative, off-site meeting space. The facility is the brainchild of local artist and award-winning designer Jessica Plummer and is managed by Antonio Mauriello and his team of Ottawa's entrepreneurs, who are very proud of bringing another local success story to fruition.




La Charrette is a sophisticated, contemporary event venue designed specifically for small and medium sized meetings, conferences, classes and private gatherings. Every inch of our space has been carefully crafted to, optimize productivity, inspire creativity, encourage collaboration and maximize enjoyment.

We offer all the features you expect in today’s most effective and enjoyable meeting and work spaces, including high-speed wireless internet and full audio-visual capabilities. A welcome digital flat screen helps personalize your event, while coffee, tea, water or a full catering service of your choice keeps everyone comfortable. The space is bathed in natural light, which is easily controlled with blackout blinds and adjustable LED lighting. Easels and writable walls help fuel brainstorming, and collaborative-space furniture enables you to set up your room—and quickly change its orientation—to meet your precise needs. Of course, La Charrette is fully wheelchair accessible.

A multi-function event space—bright, versatile and fully accessible. From its state-of-the-art projection systems to its comfortable yet energizing décor, this is the ideal space for your next board meeting, focus group, brainstorming session, workshop or team building retreat. For maximum flexibility and productivity, The room can be set up as two interconnected spaces. For example, hold conference activities in one and serve lunch or post-meeting cocktails in the other.

Rental Rates*

Weekdays: $450 for the first 4 hours  and $65 for each additional hour thereafter. 

Weekends and Holidays: $550 for the first 4 hours and $65 for each additional hour thereafter. Price does not include HST

We are located at the southeast corner of the intersection West Hunt Club Road / Merivale Road. GPS users: please make sure you enter "WEST Hunt Club Road" and not just "Hunt Club Road"

If you are driving on West Hunt Club Rd. Westbound turn left to access the Wendy's / Tim Hortons parking lot. Follow the small causeway in front of the GoodTime motorbike store to access our parking lot.

If you are driving on West Hunt Club Rd. Eastbound, once passed the Merivale traffic light turn immediately right into our parking lot.

If you are driving on Merivale Rd. Southbound, turn left at the West Hunt Club traffic light, then immediately right into our parking lot. 

If you are driving on Merivale Rd. Northbound, just before the West Hunt Club traffic light, turn right into our parking lot.

Bus 176 and 116 stop in front of the building. 
Bus 86C stops at Merivale and Colonnade + 10 minute walk on Merivale towards West Hunt Club to reach us.
